Conversely, it will allow the patient to ensure that the surgeon and the structure seem to meet their expectations.
Surrounded by a team of vision professionals, he will personally manage your visual impairment from the preliminary consultation to the short- and long-term postoperative follow-up: your relationship with the surgeon will therefore be personalized and complete.

For the record, the Paris Ouest center was ranked in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 rankings of the newspaper Le Point: »
It was created in 2008 on the initiative of Doctor Chemla, Laureate of the Faculty of Medicine of Paris, after brilliant studies in medicine in Paris (graduating top of his class from the Faculty of Medicine Paris VII in 1975) turned to Ophthalmology which he has practiced for more than twenty years. He was one of the first to have foreseen (at a time when many were wary) the future of refractive surgery and co-wrote the "Guide to Visual Defects and their Corrections" in 2001.
He has written around a hundred articles intended for the training and information of Ophthalmologists, particularly in the new technology sector.
Based in the 92 (in La Garenne Colombes) since 1992, he has since devoted himself to the practice of Ophthalmology and surgery for myopia and other visual defects.
Due to his strong specialization, he quickly became part of the restricted circle of Parisian Ophthalmologists experienced in performing refractive surgery on a daily basis.
After having operated in most of the Parisian clinics specializing in refractive surgery (Clinique Victor Hugo, Clinique Lamartine, Centre Lasik Paris du Bd Saint Germain, Clinique de la Vision /Visya) and in view of the development of his activity, he wanted to create a structure that was customized to his needs and that could give him the possibility of achieving his goal: to offer as many people as possible the possibility of accessing the best of Laser technology.
He therefore decided in 2009 to embark on the adventure and created a laser room within his own practice, in a small street in a modest suburb: at 28 rue du Commerce in Colombes.
What a surprise it was to see patients from all over the world flocking there, abandoning the endless clinics in the posh neighborhoods of Paris, patients above all looking for a certain quality of care, and wanting to benefit from the best of Lasik technology in a friendly and professional setting.
Two years later, the premises on rue du Commerce in Colombes were really too small, he decided to move to a better-equipped space, installed on 250 m2 of completely new premises designed for this project: the Paris Ouest Ophthalmological Center.
In July 2011: acquisition of the Da Vinci femtosecond laser from Ziemer, the leading Swiss manufacturer of femtosecond lasers.
Then in April 2013 acquisition of the Amaris 750 Laser from the renowned German brand Schwind, which was then the most powerful laser of its generation.
In February 2014, launch by Schwind of the new Amaris 1050 RS, even faster and more powerful than the 750: this ultra-modern laser was immediately acquired. This excimer laser used to correct all visual defects is the fastest in the world (1050 Hz) renowned for its reliability and the quality of its treatments.
The Paris Ouest Ophthalmological Center was the first Center to use single-use disposable equipment.
This is why, after several thousand eyes operated on at the Paris Ouest Ophthalmological Center, we are pleased to have experienced to date in our Center, not a single case of preoperative infection.
Zero risk will never exist but we can aspire to it through a constant, almost obsessive concern for safety and quality of care.
